Justin Davis Jeweler has been in the art and design business for the past 30 years. The 1970's in NYC was a magical place in time and was the beginning of Justin's creative vision. On the scene and being seen with Andy Warhols factory superstars along with other artists like Basquiat, Lou Read Mick Jagger, Jerri Hall, Debbie Harry, Anton Perich, Marc Jacobs, punk clothing designer Natasha, photographer Steven Miesel and Anna Sui. Leaning From Andy the pop art philosophy of changing everyday objects from familiar into art inspired and electrified Justin. Going to the rock festival Woodstock changed his outlook forever.
From here into the fashion world Justin designed his own lines of clothing Justin Davis International, Justin Time and Hoodlum. He also had accessories featured in stores including Berdoff, Barneys, Bloomingdales and worldwide distribution. Academy Award winner Patricia Fields was his first agent. Photographing women for GQ, penthouse and Vogue magazines to name a few, Justin broaden his artistic ability with many venues. Hanging out with such notables as Jackie Onassis, Halston , Calvin Klein and Salvador Dali at Studio 54 and Max's Kanas City his street smart fashion education was growing.
Moving on to L.A his new connections in Hollywood inspired him to create rock and roll clothing and jewelry. His obsession with royalty gave him his ongoing themes of crowns and using precious stones for precious stars. Traveling opened up doors around the world of museums, art and historic landmarks that became embedded into his creative mind.
